Privacy policy

This tool exists to protect your privacy, so we collect as little as possible. In short: your images are deleted 10 minutes after processing, we keep no copies, and the site uses no trackers or cookies.
Images you upload
- Images are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and processed on our own server, hosted by OVHcloud.
- The original file is only held in memory and temporary storage during processing, then discarded.
- The cleaned file and the report of what was found are stored for 10 minutes so you can download them, then deleted automatically and permanently.
- Download links contain a random token. Anyone with the link can download the file during those 10 minutes, so do not share it.
- We never look at, analyze, reuse or share your images, and we do not keep backups of them.
Technical data
- To prevent abuse, we count how many images each IP address cleans. Only a salted hash of the IP address is stored, for 10 minutes.
- Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser) for up to 7 days, for security purposes such as blocking attacks. They do not contain your images.
Cookies and trackers
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media scripts. Fonts, styles and scripts are all served from our own server.
External links
Some pages link to other websites (for example the map link in the cleaning report, donation and affiliate links in guides). When you click them, those sites' own privacy policies apply. Affiliate links may set a cookie on the advertiser's site to credit the referral.
Your rights
Since we keep no images and no personal data beyond the short-lived technical data above, there is usually nothing to access or delete. Under the GDPR you nevertheless have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
